Workplace LearningPersonality Dimensions© WorkshopsPersonality Dimensions is a lively, interactive Canadian-developed tool offering participants an opportunity to explore and understand their own behaviours and those of those they work with. READ’s certified facilitators take participants through individual and group activities designed to give insight into personality and temperament differences. Using a variety of games and creative techniques, participants discover their own temperament and also gain insight and appreciation for the differences of others. Through the process of self-discovery, participants begin to see how they fit into one of four temperaments – Inquiring Green, Organized Gold, Authentic Blue and Resourceful Orange – and learn that everyone is “plaid.” Within their colour group, participants brainstorm topics such as core needs, characteristics, strengths, weaknesses and likes related to temperament. Based on current research on human motivation and behavior, the workshop helps maximize success by improving competency in working, communicating and understanding others. Depending on an organization’s needs and objectives, the Personality Dimensions workshops can be tailored to focus on different areas. Past workshops have highlighted oral communications skills, team building, conflict resolution and managing change. Our facilitators can work with you to determine what focus best meets your needs. READ’s facilitators Helen Thomas and Janice Beckett were certified in 2009 and have since delivered Personality Dimensions workshops to numerous groups. Read their profiles here.
