When and Where

Family literacy can take place whenever and wherever you make time for your family to read together. Try and sneak in some reading by taking a book, newspaper or magazine along on bus rides, ferry trips and walks or to the beach. Think about stocking waiting rooms and offices with materials for families so parents and caregivers can steal moments to read to their children. Read now, read often.
